Harlem has some of the best rowhouse blocks in the city. Streets like Strivers' Row and the blocks around Marcus Garvey Park are lined with brownstones and brick townhouses, many of them restored floor by floor over the last twenty years.

A Harlem brownstone is often several homes in one. The owner may live on the parlor and upper floors, with a tenant in the garden apartment and another on the top floor. We can clean one unit or the whole house, and we quote each part clearly.
Brownstone stairs are long and steep, and the original woodwork on banisters and door frames is worth protecting. Our crews pad corners, lay runners on the floors and carry hoses so they do not rub against the old wood.
In the apartment buildings, we follow the super's rules on elevator use and work hours. In the newer condos, we can book the service elevator and register with the front desk ahead of time.
Every visit starts with a short walk-through. The crew looks at stains, pet areas and any piece you are worried about, and tells you the plan and the time before they begin.
Harlem has strong train service. The 2 and 3 run under Malcolm X Boulevard, the A, B, C and D stop at 125th Street on St. Nicholas Avenue, the 1 runs up Broadway on the west side, and the 4, 5 and 6 stop at 125th and Lexington. Metro-North also stops at Harlem-125th Street.
Our crews come by van, and street parking near 125th Street is busy most of the day. The side streets between the avenues are easier, especially mid-morning after alternate-side parking ends.
