Few places in New York pack as many kinds of homes into one borough as the Bronx. There are hillside co-ops and stone houses in Riverdale, art deco apartment houses along the Grand Concourse, walk-ups around Arthur Avenue, the brick buildings of Parkchester laid out around their central oval, the towers and townhouses of Co-op City, and single-family homes by the water in Throgs Neck and Country Club. Mott Haven mixes brick rowhouses with new rentals.
Green Choice cleans carpet, area rugs, oriental rugs, upholstery, sofas and mattresses across all of it, and also offers mobile auto detailing and power washing. Each neighborhood below has its own page, with the details that matter for the buildings and streets there.
Our products are eco-safe and non-toxic, the company has been in business since 2005, and most Bronx addresses can get a same-day or next-day appointment. New customers get 10% off their first cleaning.

The Bronx is laid out in long north-south corridors. The 1 train runs up the west side to Riverdale and Kingsbridge, the 4 and the B and D serve the Jerome Avenue and Grand Concourse corridor through Fordham, the 2 and 5 run through the east-central neighborhoods toward Pelham Parkway, and the 6 heads east through Parkchester to Pelham Bay Park. Metro-North stations dot the Hudson, Harlem and New Haven lines.
For our vans, the highways matter more than the trains. The Major Deegan, the Bruckner, the Cross Bronx, the Hutchinson River Parkway and the Henry Hudson Parkway connect the neighborhoods, so we plan Bronx routes around them, and we leave extra time for street-cleaning days and busy shopping streets. A Co-op City tower, a Throgs Neck house and a Belmont walk-up can all be a short drive apart.
