Traffic is the first thing we think about. A van crossing Midtown at noon can take a long time to go a few blocks, especially near Times Square and Rockefeller Center. We give honest arrival windows and plan the route before the day starts.
Next is the building itself. We ask whether there is a loading area, which elevator we should use, and if the building needs anything from us ahead of time. Getting that sorted early means the crew can head straight upstairs and start work.
