Mobile car detailing for Village and SoHo residents, done in your parking garage when the garage allows it, or at a legal curb spot nearby.
Almost no one in this neighborhood has a driveway. Cars live in monthly garages, on the street, or in a building's own spot. That is why our detailing comes to wherever your car is, as long as the space allows us to work.
Many garages here let us detail a car in its space or in a set area. Others do not allow any work inside. Before booking, ask your garage, and we will match our setup to its rules. If the garage says no, we can meet at a legal curb spot.
City driving is rough on a car. Brake dust, road salt in winter, tree sap on the leafy Village blocks and grit from old paving all end up on the paint and in the cabin.
Inside, we vacuum the seats, carpet and trunk, clean the dash and door panels, and wipe the screens and glass. Fabric seats get shampooed, and leather seats are cleaned and conditioned.
Outside, we hand wash the car, clean the wheels and tires, and apply wax to protect the paint from street grime. We use only as much water as the location allows.
In a garage with no water hookup, we can do an interior-only detail, which needs very little water and is a good choice in the cold months.
Weekend trips out of the city add their own mess: sand from the beach, mud from a hike, pet hair from a dog in the back seat. We pull hair out with rubber tools before shampooing.
Some residents keep a car mainly for weekends and leave it parked for days at a time. Dust settles on the paint and leaves and bird droppings sit there longer than they should. A regular wash and wax keeps that from etching into the clear coat.
Plan for two to four hours, depending on the size and condition of the car. The garage staff or doorman can hand us the keys if you will not be there.
