Memory foam and latex do not like water. We use very little moisture on them and keep the cover dry enough that nothing seeps into the core.

In a tight bedroom we work around the bed frame. If the frame is built in or the mattress is on a loft platform, we clean it in place and keep the work area protected.

Pet owners take note: if the dog or cat sleeps on the bed, hair and dander work deep into the quilting. We vacuum those seams slowly and treat any accident spots so the smell does not come back on a warm night.
