Drying usually takes four to six hours. Steam heat in older buildings makes winter drying quick. In summer, running the air conditioner or a fan helps a lot, especially in rooms with one small window onto an airshaft.

Dogs are very common on these blocks, and many spend the workday in the apartment. Accidents tend to happen in the same corner each time. We find those spots with a UV light and treat them deeper than the rest of the carpet.
