Bensonhurst area rug cleaning with free collection from your house or apartment, a complete wash at our plant and delivery back to the room.
Tile and wood floors are common in Bensonhurst homes, and area rugs bring the warmth back. You find them under dining tables set for a dozen people, in front of the couch, along upstairs halls and on basement floors.
A rug that serves a big family needs more than a vacuum. Food, drinks, grandkids and pets all leave their mark, and the grit that does the real damage hides deep in the base where nobody sees it.
We collect the rugs at no charge, wash them completely at our plant and bring them home again. With a driveway, the van backs right up and loading takes minutes. In a Bay Parkway apartment building, we ride the elevator according to the building's rules.
At the plant, each rug is checked for what it is made of and how its colors behave. Synthetic rugs from a furniture store, cotton flat-weaves and wool pile rugs all need different handling, and a quick dye check keeps colors from running.
It then soaks in a full-immersion bath so cleaner reaches every fiber, gets rinsed until clear water comes out, and dries flat at a steady pace so it does not shrink or wave at the edges.
Dining room rugs are the most common request here. Tomato sauce, olive oil, red wine and espresso all leave different marks, and we treat each one during the wash instead of only on the surface.
Rugs from a basement can smell musty if the space stays damp. A full wash usually lifts the odor, and keeping the basement dry stops it from coming back.
Summer brings sand back from Bensonhurst Park and the beaches, and kids drop it on the rugs before anyone notices. Fine sand sinks to the base, where it acts like sandpaper on the fibers, and only a full soak flushes it out.
Expect the rugs back in about a week. When there are several on different floors, they all go in one pickup and come home together.
