Bensonhurst mobile car detailing in your own driveway or under-house garage, or at the curb out front, with our own water on board.
So many Bensonhurst houses have a private driveway or a garage built under the house that detailing at home is about as easy here as anywhere in Brooklyn. The van pulls in behind your car, and you carry on with your day indoors.
Cars in this neighborhood stay busy. Errands along 86th Street and 18th Avenue, school drop-offs, Sunday visits to relatives and summer drives down to the beach all show up on the seats, the mats and the paint.
Water comes from our own tank and every product is eco-safe. Book two to four hours for the complete package; inside-only or outside-only visits wrap up sooner.
The cabin comes first. Seats, carpets, mats and the trunk are vacuumed, then shampooed where the fabric needs it. Leather is cleaned and conditioned so it stays supple instead of cracking in the August heat.
On the outside, the body gets a hand wash and a protective wax. Rims and tires are scrubbed, and every window is cleaned on both sides.
Living close to Gravesend Bay and the Belt Parkway means salt in the air and road grime on the lower doors. Cars parked under the elevated D tracks on 86th Street also collect a layer of fine dust. A fresh coat of wax makes all of that easier to rinse off next time.
Beach days leave sand in the seat rails, the door pockets and the corners of the trunk. We go after those spots with crevice tools until they are clear.
Families with grandparents who need a ride to appointments, or kids in car seats, spend a lot of time in the back seat. We pay extra attention to the rear seats, the door panels the kids kick, and the cup holders that collect old juice.
A steep driveway or a snug garage is not a problem, as long as the doors can open and we can walk around the car.
Add-ons include engine bay cleaning and ceramic coating. While we are parked in your driveway anyway, ask about power washing in Bensonhurst for the concrete.
