Pelham Bay sits in the northeast corner of the Bronx, where the elevated 6 train ends and Pelham Bay Park begins. The streets off Westchester Avenue and Crosby Avenue are lined with attached and semi-attached brick houses, many of them two-family, plus some small apartment buildings closer to the train.

A two-family house usually means two sets of needs. The owner's floor might have a formal living room that is rarely used and a busy kitchen and den that are used all day. The rental floor turns over every few years and needs a full refresh at each move. We are happy to quote both floors, the stairs between them and the basement in one go.
Finished basements are common here, and they deserve some care. Below-grade rooms can be damp, so we check the carpet and pad before cleaning, extract as much water as possible, and tell you if anything looks like an old leak.

The 6 train runs above Westchester Avenue with stops at Buhre Avenue, Middletown Road and Pelham Bay Park. The Bruckner Expressway and the Hutchinson River Parkway run along the edges, which makes the area easy for our vans to reach from either direction.
