Area Rug Cleaning in Jackson Heights, Queens

Rugs in Jackson Heights come in every style imaginable: bright machine-made designs on parquet, flatwoven kilims, shaggy rugs in the kids' room and runners down long co-op corridors.

None of them gets scrubbed on your floor. Instead, the rug leaves with our crew at no charge, gets a full soak and controlled drying at our facility, and comes back clean.

Pickup here takes some planning. Lots of buildings are walk-ups, some open onto a garden courtyard, and parking is scarce. Describe how to reach your door, and we will choose a window with time to park and carry the rug out safely.

Bright colors are popular here, and they are the ones most likely to run if washed carelessly. A fiber and dye test before washing tells us how to keep every shade in place.

Kilims and dhurries are flat, with no pile, and need a different wash than a thick tufted rug. Rugs are sorted by construction first.

Kitchen and dining rugs absorb cooking oil and food. Soaking removes it far better than surface shampoo.

Pet accidents get a separate odor treatment, and fringe is cleaned and combed.

Anything hand-knotted moves to our oriental rug service for hand-washing.

Most rugs return in about a week, and several can travel in one trip.

Because our solutions are non-toxic, children and pets can use the rug again as soon as it is down.

Rugs under a toddler's play area or the family dining table often need more than one wash a year. If that sounds like your home, ask about setting up a regular pickup.

Shag rugs, with their long pile, trap a lot of dust and small objects. They get extra shaking and rinsing at our facility before the main wash.
