Area Rug Cleaning in Flushing, Queens

Area rugs are everywhere in Flushing homes. They warm up hard floors in new condo towers, cover the parquet in older co-ops and sit under the dining table in family houses where everyone eats together.

Rugs are hard to clean well on the floor, so we take them with us. Our crew rolls the rug up at your home, brings it to our facility for a full-immersion wash, dries it under control and returns it to you. Pickup and delivery are free.

This also means no wet floor and no equipment in your living room. You only need to be home for the few minutes it takes to pick up and drop off.

In a downtown building, we will ask whether the doorman or super needs advance notice and where we can stop the van for a few minutes. Main Street and the blocks around it are crowded, so a set time window helps everyone.

Before washing, every rug gets a quick test. We check the fiber, since wool, cotton, viscose and synthetics all react differently, and we test the dyes so bright colors stay where they belong. If a rug turns out to be hand-knotted, it goes to our oriental rug process instead.

Dining-room rugs in big households take a lot of crumbs, sauce and spilled drinks. Full immersion reaches the dirt that settles deep in the base of the rug, which surface cleaning cannot touch.

Pet accidents get a separate treatment for stain and odor. Fringe is washed and combed out as part of the job.

Most rugs come back in about a week. If you are sending several rugs from the same home, we pick them all up in one trip.

We use eco-safe, non-toxic products, so the rug can go right back into a room where kids play and pets nap.
