Area Rug Cleaning in Corona, Queens

Rugs in Corona homes work hard. A big rug in the living room is often where the little ones play and where extra guests sit during a party. A rug by the door catches the street dirt from Roosevelt Avenue and the mud from the park.

Many families put a rug over tile or wood in the kitchen area too, and that one gets oil, sauce and water every single day.

These rugs need more than a vacuum. We pick them up, wash them all the way through at our plant, and bring them back clean.

You choose the pickup day. Our crew rolls the rug up and carries it down the stairs. In a shared house, we keep the hall clear and are careful around the banister.

At our plant, each rug is checked for fiber and dye before it gets wet. Polypropylene and polyester rugs are common, easy to wash and quick to dry. Wool rugs need a gentler wash. Shag rugs hold a lot of dirt and need extra rinsing.

Then comes a full soak and rinse that pushes the dirt out of the base of the rug. Grease from the kitchen and food stains get treated during the wash.

Rugs are dried in a controlled space so they stay flat and do not shrink. Fringe on the ends is cleaned and combed.

Most rugs come home in about a week. If you have rugs on different floors of the house, we can collect them all at once.

Kids in Corona spend a lot of time playing on the floor, and the living room rug is often their playground. Toys, play dough, juice boxes and snack crumbs all end up in it. A full wash makes it clean and safe for play again.

Small rugs and bath mats can go in the same pickup at no extra trip cost.

Rugs in front of the kitchen sink or stove get a special kind of dirt: grease that attracts dust and turns sticky. That layer comes out in our wash with a degreasing treatment.

Before a party? Plan the pickup at least a week ahead so the rug is back in time. If the rug is old and handmade, our oriental rug cleaning in Corona is the safer choice.
