Mattress cleaning in Pelham Parkway that is dry before bedtime, for kids' rooms, guest beds and your own.
Pelham Parkway homes often have more beds than people expect: the main bedroom, the kids' rooms, a guest bed for visiting family, maybe a pull-out in the basement. Most of those mattresses have never been cleaned.
A mattress takes in sweat, skin flakes and dust every night. Over time that feeds dust mites and can make allergies worse.
Our low-moisture method cleans the mattress in place and lets it dry within hours, so it is ready for the night.
First we strip the bed and look at the mattress. A foam mattress, a hybrid and a traditional spring mattress each take moisture differently, so we pick the method before we start.
We vacuum slowly and deeply across the whole surface to pull out dust, skin flakes and mites. Then we treat stains one at a time, including sweat stains and spills.
Next comes a light cleaning and extraction, with as little moisture as possible. Most mattresses are dry within a few hours.
For children's beds, we often see juice, milk and accident stains. We use an enzyme cleaner on those to remove the odor at the source. Our products are eco-safe and fine for kids once dry.
Many people here work at the hospitals nearby and sleep during the day. If you need the mattress dry by a certain hour, tell us when you book, and we will schedule early enough.
Some old stains will not come out fully, especially if they have set for years. We will tell you what to expect before we begin.
Guest beds that sit unused for months can pick up a stale smell, especially in a basement room. A cleaning before relatives arrive for the holidays freshens it, and a breathable cover keeps it that way.
Mattresses in rooms with steam radiators can dry out the air in winter, which is good for drying after cleaning but also means more dust in the room. A cleaning before the heating season starts is a smart time.
