Bedroom mattress care in Parkchester apartments that sanitizes without soaking, so the bed is back in use by evening.
Replacing a mattress in a Parkchester apartment means getting the old one down the elevator and out to the curb on the right day, and getting a new one up. A cleaning is much simpler, and it can make a tired mattress feel and smell fresher.
In an apartment, the bedroom is often small and the windows face the courtyards or the avenue. Dust drifts in, and with the windows closed in winter, it settles on the bed.
It stays on its frame the whole time, and since the method barely wets the surface, it is ready for bed by evening.
The first question is what the mattress is made of. Each construction, whether foam, latex, coils or a mix, reacts differently to moisture, and foam must never be saturated.
We start with a slow vacuum pass using a strong machine, which pulls out dust, skin flakes and mite debris. Stains are then handled one by one, an anti-mite and allergen product is applied, and a sanitizing pass that leaves the surface only slightly damp wraps it up, along with a mild deodorizer.
For anyone in the family who wakes up stuffy or sneezing, a cleaner mattress is a simple step that can help. It is also worth doing for a bed used by someone recovering from an illness.
Children's beds and bunk beds get juice spills, accidents and late-night snacks. Our products are non-toxic and fine for kids once the mattress is dry.
Owners who rent out a furnished unit can have the mattress cleaned between tenants, together with the carpet and the sofa, so the new tenant moves into a fresh apartment.
Mattress protectors are worth a mention. After cleaning, a washable, breathable cover keeps sweat and spills out of the mattress and makes the next cleaning easier. Pillows are best washed or replaced on their own schedule.
