Mobile car detailing in Pelham Parkway, in your driveway or at a legal spot on a side street or service road.
Lots of households around Pelham Parkway own a car, and many depend on it for hospital shifts, school runs and weekend trips. On the house blocks north of the parkway, driveways and garages are common. Near the apartment buildings, cars line the side streets and the service roads that run beside the main lanes.
Instead of you driving to a car wash and waiting, our detailer comes to the car. The van carries everything needed for the inside and the outside.
Your own driveway is the simplest setup. A legal curb space also works. For a building garage, please clear it with the super or management first.
Shade from the parkway trees is nice in July, but it comes at a price. Sap, pollen and bird droppings land on cars parked under them, and left alone they can etch the clear coat. A careful hand wash lifts them, and a wax layer makes the next batch easier to rinse off.
Family cars here see a lot: car seats, snacks, sports gear and sometimes the dog. We get into the gaps around the seat rails, under the car seats and along the seat belts, where crumbs and hair collect, and finish with a full vacuum of the carpet, mats and cargo area.
Fabric seats are shampooed and extracted. Leather gets a gentle cleaner and conditioner so it stays soft. The dashboard, console, vents and door pockets are wiped, and the windows are cleaned inside and out.
If you drive for work, whether to the medical center down the road or for deliveries, the steering wheel, shifter, cup holders and door handles carry the most grime. We give those touch points extra time.
Thinking of selling or trading the car in? A detail before photos or an appraisal helps it show its best.
Set aside a few hours for a complete inside-and-out job. A small sedan is quicker than a three-row SUV.
Winter salt from the parkway and side streets dries white on the floor mats. We loosen and extract it from the mats and carpet.
