Mobile car detailing in Mott Haven, done at a legal curb spot, a private lot, or a building garage that permits it.
Most cars in Mott Haven sleep on the street, and a car parked on a busy South Bronx block picks up grime fast. Expressway dust, brake dust, winter salt and leaves from street trees settle on the paint and find their way into the cabin.
Our detailer drives to you with the vacuum, cleaners and hand-wash kit, and works wherever the car can be cleaned safely and legally.
That might be a legal space at the curb, a private lot or driveway, or a garage in one of the newer buildings, if the building agrees. Let us know where the car is when you call.
The inside comes first: seats, carpet, mats and trunk are vacuumed, and the dash, console, door panels and cup holders are wiped down. Fabric seats are shampooed and extracted, while leather is cleaned and given conditioner so it stays soft.
Then the outside. The body is washed by hand, wheels and tires are scrubbed, glass is cleaned inside and out, and a coat of wax adds shine and a layer of protection.
Bronx winters bring road salt, which crusts on the lower doors and soaks into the floor mats. A detail in early spring removes it before it can stain or rust.
Keeping a legal spot near 138th Street for a few hours is not easy, so we ask about street-cleaning days and choose a time around them. Plenty of the new buildings have garages, but not all of them allow outside work, so please ask your management first.
Drivers who do rideshare or deliveries put heavy wear on the inside. We can focus on the seats, the mats and the smell, since those are what passengers notice.
Expect a full inside-and-out detail to take a few hours, depending on the size of the vehicle and how much it needs.
Families with car seats know how much food ends up under them. We take the seats out if you want, clean the fabric and the seat underneath, and put them back in the same spot. Please check the fit yourself before you drive.
