Auto Detailing in Belmont, Bronx

Most cars in Belmont spend their lives parked on the street. Outside, they pick up city grime, tree sap, pigeon droppings and road salt all winter. Inside, it is coffee, crumbs, sand from the playground and whatever the kids left in the back seat.

Driving to a detail shop means giving up a parking spot that took twenty minutes to find. Our mobile detailing skips that problem by coming to wherever the car already is.

We can work at the curb where parking rules allow it, in a driveway if your house has one, or in a private lot or garage when the owner or building management says yes. Leave us the keys or stay close by; either works.

The interior work covers the seats, floor mats, carpet and trunk, plus the dashboard, console, cup holders and door panels. Cloth seats are cleaned; leather is cleaned and then conditioned so it stays soft.

On the outside, the car is washed and waxed by hand. Sap and droppings are softened first so they slide off without scratching the clear coat.

On the shopping blocks we stay out of the morning delivery rush and never set up in front of a store entrance. A side street near the zoo, or a driveway on a house block, is easier for everyone.

Winter is hard on cars here. Salt from the plowed streets dries into white rings on the floor mats and carpet, and slush tracked in on boots soaks into the driver-side floor. A spring interior detail clears that out before it stains for good.

Fordham students getting a car ready to sell, or about to return a lease, can choose interior only, which is the simplest package to start with.

Fabric car seats respond to many of the same methods we use on furniture. If the couch at home needs the same help, see Belmont sofa cleaning.
