Springs sits at the north end of East Hampton Town, between Accabonac Harbor and Gardiners Bay. It has a long working history of baymen, fishermen and tradespeople, and a famous artistic one too: Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner lived and painted here, and their house on Springs-Fireplace Road is now a museum and study center.
