Braided cotton, flat-woven wool and plant-fiber rugs all behave differently in water. Sisal and jute, for example, need barely any. The inspection decides the method.

Drying is done flat and unhurried, which keeps the rug the same size it arrived. Expect it home again roughly seven days after we collect it.
Back at your house, the pad goes down first and the rug is laid on top with care. A good pad holds it still on wood floors and spreads the wear.
