Hard plastics on the dash and doors are dusted with a brush to reach the vents and seams, then wiped. We avoid shiny dressings that leave glare on the windshield.
Outside, the paint gets a two-bucket hand wash, the wheels get a dedicated brake-dust cleaner, and a coat of wax goes on last.
Parking under the trees by Inwood Hill Park and Isham Park means pollen in spring and leaves in fall. Leaves stuck in the cowl under the windshield can clog drains and cause musty smells, so we clear them out.
