Mattress Cleaning in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn

In a neighborhood where many people change apartments every few years, a mattress often outlasts several addresses.

From the outside it may look fine. Inside, sweat, dust and dead skin keep building up. Add a dog that sleeps at your feet, a spilled glass of wine or a muggy summer with the windows shut, and it is time.

We do the work in your bedroom, so nothing goes down the stairs or past the doorman.

The visit starts with a look at the mattress and a price you agree to before any cleaning begins.

Roommates often book together, and every bed in the apartment gets done on one trip.

Step one is a deep vacuum that draws dust and crumbs out of the top layer and along the piping.

Then each mark is matched with its own product: sweat, urine, blood, coffee or makeup. For urine, we add an odor treatment that breaks down the cause, not just the smell.

Sanitizing is done with very little water, so the foam stays dry inside and the surface dries fast.

Small bedrooms in pre-war buildings can be stuffy. A cracked window or a fan usually has the bed ready by night.

Guest beds and daybeds in the spare room tend to gather dust between visits. A quick clean before friends or family arrive means they sleep on a fresh surface.

In a studio, the bed shares the room with the kitchen, so it soaks up cooking smells along with everything else. Cleaning and a good airing take most of that out.

People book us when they sign a new lease, before a friend comes to stay, or after a pet accident.

Bed bugs are a separate problem that needs a licensed exterminator. If you have seen signs of them, call one first; cleaning alone will not solve it.

If dust bothers you, a cleaned mattress plus a zip-on cover and weekly hot-washed sheets is a simple way to cut it down.

Twin to king, memory foam to pillow top, we clean them all.
