Auto Detailing in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn

Keeping a car in Prospect Heights is a chore of its own. Spaces are scarce, a lot of residents rent a garage spot, and street parkers juggle alternate-side days and the crowds that arrive on Barclays Center nights.

Nobody wants to lose a good space for a trip to the car wash. So the car wash comes to you.

Let us know where the car sits and what the garage allows, and we set the visit up around that.

Compacts, sedans, SUVs and minivans are all welcome. Package and price are agreed before any work starts.

Cabin work covers seats, carpets, mats and the trunk, plus the dashboard, console, cup holders, door pockets and the inside of the glass.

Cloth seats are shampooed and extracted. Leather gets a gentle clean and conditioner. Dog hair from trips to the park comes up with rubber tools made for it.

On the outside we hand wash the paint, scrub the wheels and tires, and lift the city film: brake dust, tar spots and bird droppings.

A week on the curb near busy Flatbush Avenue leaves a gray layer of soot. Careful hand washing brings back the shine without scratching.

Several buildings near Atlantic Avenue have garages below them. Some allow detailing and some do not, so check with the attendant first.

On the street, the car has to stay in one legal space for the whole job. Weekday windows between street cleaning times tend to work best.

Winter slush leaves white salt rings on floor mats and the carpet under them. Mats get scrubbed and the salt lifted out before it sets.

Weekend escapes to the beach or upstate bring back sand, mud and pine needles. A detail after a road trip keeps that from grinding into the carpet.

Ride-share and delivery cars get the same treatment, so they stay clean for passengers and long shifts. Plenty of customers also add a sofa cleaning upstairs; see every option on the Prospect Heights page.
