Power washing for Wainscott decks, fences, cedar roofs and pool terraces, using a soft-wash method on roofs and eco-safe cleaning solutions.
Outdoor living is a big part of a Wainscott summer: a long deck, a stone pool terrace, a cedar fence around the garden, a shingled roof that faces the ocean wind. Salt air, pollen from the fields and shade from the hedges all leave their mark.
We clean these surfaces with the right pressure for each, soft-wash roofs gently and use eco-safe solutions around lawns, gardens and pools.
Cedar shingle roofs and walls weather to silver-grey, but they also grow moss, lichen and black streaks, especially on the north side. We soft-wash roofs, which means low pressure and a cleaning solution that does the work, not a hard blast.
Decks take the most abuse. Wood decks grey and grow mildew, and composite decks collect pollen and grime in the grooves. We wash each type at the pressure it can handle.
Fences around pools and gardens get green on the shady side. A gentle wash brings back the wood color without raising the grain.
Stone and bluestone pool terraces get slippery when algae builds up. We clean them carefully and rinse well so nothing runs into the pool.
Our solutions are eco-safe, and we rinse plants before and after. That matters on properties with big gardens, lawns and nearby fields.
Spring is the busiest time, just before owners open the house. A fall wash after the season is also smart, so dirt and leaves do not sit all winter.
Outdoor showers, pergolas and stone walls are often part of the job as well. Tell us what you would like washed, and we will price it on the free quote so there are no surprises on the day.
Gravel and shell drives do not need power washing, but the stone aprons, steps and garage pads beside them often do. We point out what will benefit and what is best left alone.
While we are out there, our mobile detailers can take care of the car, and the inside of the house is covered on our Wainscott services page.
