Auto detailing at your Wainscott home: windows inside and out, optional engine bay cleaning and ceramic coating, all done on your own drive.
Wainscott cars spend summer parked under the sun, driving down sandy ocean lanes and sitting beside farm fields that send up dust. Many households also keep a beach car or a convertible that only comes out in July.
Our detailers come to your property and work on your drive or in your garage, so the car never leaves home.
Long gravel drives are common here, and we bring what we need to set up next to the car. If there is a garage or a shaded spot, we use it to keep soap and polish from drying too fast.
Salt air leaves a film on glass and paint. Every pane of glass, mirrors included, gets cleaned on both sides, and the film that salt air leaves on a windshield comes right off.
Beach cars come in full of sand. We vacuum mats, carpets, the trunk and under the seats, then wipe down surfaces that sandy hands have touched.
For cars that sit through the off-season, an engine bay clean is available as an add-on. It removes dust and debris and makes it easier to spot leaks.
Ceramic coating is also available. It adds a hard, glossy layer that helps protect paint from sun, salt and bird droppings over the coming months.
Collector and convertible owners can tell us about any special care the car needs, such as soft tops, wood trim or older paint.
Interior surfaces like dashboards, door panels and cup holders collect sunscreen and sticky fingerprints. We clean them with products that suit leather, plastic and wood trim, and leave the cabin smelling fresh, not perfumed.
Cars that wait in a garage all winter often come out with a film of dust and a stale cabin. A spring detail before the first beach weekend gets them road-ready.
