Mobile detailing in Quogue for summer cars, beach SUVs and convertibles, done in your driveway or motor court.
Summer in Quogue is hard on a car. Beach trips on Dune Road leave sand in the carpet and salt film on the paint. Sunscreen ends up on the seats, and wet towels sit in the trunk.
Some owners keep a summer car out here, like a convertible or a beach Jeep, and leave it in the garage all winter. A detail before you put it away keeps the salt and sand from sitting for months.
We work at your home, in the driveway, motor court or garage. Water and power come with us in the van, so there is no need to find a spigot.
Inside, sand is the first target. We blow it out of seat rails, seams and corners, then vacuum the carpet, mats, seats and cargo area.
Leather and vinyl seats get wiped down, and sunscreen marks are cleaned from the seats and door panels. The dash, console and glass are cleaned too.
Outside, the car is hand washed and dried, with care on salt film along the lower panels and wheels. Wheels and tires are detailed.
Convertible tops and soft tops are cleaned gently by hand.
A full detail takes about two to four hours. Interior or exterior only is quicker. If several family cars need work, we can do them in one visit.
Gravel drives are fine. We set up wherever the car is parked and leave the area tidy.
Beach chairs, boogie boards and coolers leave scuffs and wet spots in the cargo area. We clean the trunk liner and side panels, and treat any mildew smell from towels that were left in a hot car.
Salt is the hidden problem. Spray from the ocean side of Dune Road settles on the paint, the chrome and the underside of the doors. Left alone, it dulls the finish. A proper hand wash with a thorough rinse takes it off.
If your car is driven by a house guest or a teenager all summer, a mid-season detail can save the interior from a long August of sand and snacks.
Engine bay detailing is an add-on. Many owners also book power washing in Quogue for the drive or pool deck on the same day.
