Power washing in Amagansett for cedar shingles, decks, pool patios, outdoor showers and driveways, with the pressure set for each surface.
Outside surfaces in Amagansett take sun, salt spray and damp ocean fog all year. Cedar shingles turn green or black on the shady side, deck boards go gray and slippery, and the stone around the pool collects a dark film by midsummer.
Most of that can be cleaned. The trick is using the right pressure. Too much will cut into soft cedar and wood; too little leaves the mildew behind.
We test a small hidden spot first and use eco-safe cleaning solutions around your lawn, garden and dune plants.
Cedar shingle siding is cleaned at low pressure with a cleaning solution that loosens mildew and algae. The goal is to clean the wood without raising the grain or forcing water behind the shingles.
Decks and railings are next. Salt and mildew make wood slick, and a proper wash brings back the color and the grip. It is also the right first step if you plan to stain or seal.
Pool patios, pavers and bluestone get cleaned of algae, sunscreen and leaf stains. Concrete and pavers are safe when the pressure is set for the surface.
Outdoor showers are a small job with a big result. The wood walls and floor get slimy fast in summer, and a wash makes them feel new again.
Driveways and walkways can be done the same day. Gravel driveways are common here, so for those we focus on the paved walks, patios and steps.
Small businesses on Main Street can book us too. Shop fronts, sidewalks and entry steps collect sand, gum and grime over a summer of foot traffic, and early-morning washing keeps the work out of the way of customers.
Gray-weathered cedar is the classic look here, and some owners want to keep the silver color rather than make the wood look new. Tell us which look you want, and we will adjust how strong the cleaning solution is.
