Concrete driveways and front walks can take more pressure. Here we remove tire marks, ground-in dirt and the brown leaf shadows left behind each fall after wet leaves sit on the pavement. Even passes keep the finish from looking striped.

Slate and natural stone patios get moderate pressure so the surface does not chip or flake. Wood decks and fences are washed gently so the boards do not raise or splinter, which also prepares them well for stain or sealer.

Through the whole job we wet and shield flower beds, cover outdoor outlets and lights where needed, and direct runoff away from planting so the garden is not harmed.

Spring is a busy time in the village, after a winter of salt, sand and fallen leaves has left its mark on the driveway and walks. Late summer is another good moment, once pollen and algae have built up on the shady sides of the house.
