Mattress Cleaning in Washington Heights, Manhattan

Count the beds in a Washington Heights apartment and you may get to five or six: the main bedroom, bunk beds for the kids, a bed for a grandparent and a pull-out for guests. Each one gathers dust, sweat and allergens night after night.

One visit can take care of all of them. Every mattress is inspected, stains are worked on, a deodorizing step freshens it up, and our quick-drying, low-moisture method lets you put the sheets back on the same day.

Children's mattresses get extra care for accidents, spilled drinks and sick days. The sooner a stain is treated, the better it comes out, so it helps to call early.

Older relatives who rest in bed during the day spend more hours on their mattress than anyone else. A clean one can make the whole room feel and smell fresher.

If someone in the home wakes up congested or with itchy eyes, our allergen and dust mite treatment targets what builds up inside the mattress.

Foam, latex and spring mattresses each react differently to moisture, so we check the type before we start.

Radiators in older buildings can run hot all winter, drying out the air and stirring up dust. Bedrooms with the bed close to a radiator often benefit most from a cleaning at the end of the heating season.

When a family moves to a new apartment in the neighborhood, or a bed is passed down from a relative, a sanitizing clean is a good fresh start.

Sharing a room is common in big families, and when one child gets a cold or a stomach bug, everyone's bed is exposed. A sanitizing clean after the house recovers helps everyone start fresh.

Hot, humid summers uptown, often without central air, mean more sweat soaks into the mattress. Late summer is a popular time for a deep clean.

In most homes, the beds are dry in a few hours and ready by bedtime. The products are eco-safe and non-toxic, fine for kids and pets.

Bedroom carpet can be done the same day with carpet cleaning, and the Washington Heights page lists our other services. For relatives up the hill, see mattress cleaning in Inwood. Call 1-800-589-4364 and tell us how many beds.
