A family car on the Upper West Side lives a double life. During the week it sits in a garage off Amsterdam or Columbus. On weekends it is packed with kids, strollers, snacks and the dog for a drive out of the city.

That is why interior work is the heart of our detailing here. We come to your garage, or to a legal spot near your home when there is room to work safely, and clean the car where it is parked.

First we check with you, or with the garage, what is allowed. Some garages are fine with a full detail. Others allow only interior work or need the manager to approve it first.

Car seats are where the mess hides. Crumbs, dried milk and sticky juice collect in the seat and the tracks underneath, and we vacuum and clean all of it.

Dog hair woven into carpet and seats is removed, and the interior is treated for odor.

Seats, mats and carpet are deep cleaned. Leather is cleaned and conditioned, and the dash, console and door pockets are wiped by hand.

Outside, the car gets a hand wash and wax, with wheels, rims and tires cleaned and the windows done inside and out.

Engine bay detailing is available as an add-on.

Beach weekends leave sand in every seam, and ski trips leave salt on the mats. We dig both out of the carpet and the trunk liner before the deep clean.

Strollers and sports gear ride in the trunk all week, so the cargo area gets the same vacuum and wipe-down as the cabin.

Many garages on the West Side stack cars or park them close together. We keep a small footprint, work around the attendants and leave the space as we found it.

We price each job on the car's condition, and a full detail usually takes two to four hours. Interior-only jobs are quicker.
