Low-moisture mattress cleaning in Gowanus, so beds in new apartments, lofts and guest rooms can be made up again the same day.
Moving into a new Gowanus apartment is a good time to look at the mattress. It may have been in storage, in a moving truck, or in a dusty room while the building was finished around it.
Our crews vacuum, treat and sanitize the mattress in your bedroom. Nothing leaves the apartment.
It is also a smart step for a hand-me-down bed or a mattress bought second hand.
We begin with a strong, filtered vacuum on every side we can reach. That pulls out dust, skin flakes and dust mites, plus the fine grit that drifts in from construction nearby.
Next we treat stains: sweat marks, spilled coffee, a pet accident. Then we sanitize the surface with low moisture, so the padding inside does not get soaked.
Loft bedrooms are sometimes open to the rest of the space, which means kitchen smells and dust reach the bed too. A cleaned mattress with a good cover makes a real difference there.
Memory foam, latex and spring mattresses react differently to heat and moisture. We check the type and adjust before we start.
If a guest is coming or you are about to sell or pass on a mattress, a clean is a simple step that makes it fresher for the next person.
Dogs and cats often spend more time on the bed than their owners think. We remove the hair and treat the odor as part of the same clean.
Our products are non-toxic and eco-safe, so the bed is fine for kids and pets once it is dry. We air the room while we work when the windows open.
Same-day or next-day appointments are open in most of Gowanus, handy when a guest is arriving this week.
Kids' beds get their own care. Juice, a night-time accident or a stomach bug all leave marks and smells, and we treat both. Older stains may lighten rather than disappear, and you will hear that from us up front.
A new loft or tower bedroom often has big windows and little storage, so the mattress may sit right under the sun. Rotating it every few months helps it wear evenly.
While we are in the bedroom, we can also do the carpet with our carpet service or an upholstered headboard with upholstery cleaning.
