Mobile auto detailing in Gowanus at the curb, in a lot or in a building garage that allows it, with inside and outside cleaned.
Cars in Gowanus have a rough life. They park on blocks with trucks and building sites, collect dust from construction, and spend nights on the street through every season.
We bring the detailing to where your car is parked, so you do not lose half a day driving to a shop.
Commuters who ride the F, G or R all week often leave the car parked for days at a time, and it shows.
Inside, we vacuum the seats, carpets and trunk, then clean the dashboard, door panels, cup holders and the gaps where crumbs collect. Leather is conditioned and fabric seats are cleaned.
Outside, we hand wash and wax. Construction dust settles on paint and glass and can scratch when wiped dry, so we rinse it off gently first.
Where we work depends on your block. A spot at the curb with enough room, a private lot or a building garage that permits detailing all work. Tell us where the car will be when you book.
Alternate side parking is part of life here. Book a time that fits your street's schedule so the car can stay put while we work.
For a business with a work van or a small fleet near the canal, we can detail several vehicles in one visit.
Kids' car seats, pet hair on the back seat and sand from a beach weekend all come out with a careful vacuum and the right brushes.
Inside the car we use eco-safe products, so there is no harsh chemical smell when you drive away.
Most Gowanus addresses can get a same-day or next-day slot, so the car can be ready before a weekend trip.
Street trees and pigeons leave sap and droppings on cars parked overnight. Both can etch the clear coat if they sit too long, so we soften them first and lift them off instead of scrubbing.
Winter adds road salt to the lower doors and the floor mats. We clean the mats, the door sills and the carpet under the pedals, where the white salt lines show up first.
While we are on the block, ask about power washing for your sidewalk or storefront. Our Gowanus page lists the services inside the home.
