Upholstery cleaning in Borough Park for full sets of dining chairs, armchairs, ottomans and headboards, done in your home before Shabbat or Yom Tov.
Many Borough Park dining rooms have a table that seats twelve, sixteen or even more when the leaves are in. That means a lot of upholstered chairs, and every Shabbat they are all in use. Fabric seats and backs collect crumbs, grease from the meal and sticky little handprints.
Beyond the dining room, there are armchairs where a grandparent likes to sit, upholstered headboards in the bedrooms and benches by the front door where everyone sits to put on shoes.
We clean all of it on site, chair by chair, so nothing needs to leave the house.
With a large set, we work in an assembly line: chairs come away from the table, each one is vacuumed, stains are treated, and then each gets a deep, low-moisture clean before going back in place. It moves faster than people expect.
Every fabric is identified before we start, either from its care code or from a test in a hidden spot. Light-colored chairs, which are popular in many dining rooms here, get extra attention on the seat front and the top of the back where hands and clothing rub.
Grease from food and wine or grape juice stains are each treated with a product chosen for them. If a stain has set in for years, we will tell you whether it is likely to come out fully.
Armchairs, ottomans and headboards follow the same careful process. Cushions and pillows are included, and leather pieces are cleaned and conditioned with leather products only.
Most chairs are dry in two to four hours. If you book early in the day, the dining room is ready well before Shabbat begins.
Many families also keep a set of folding or extra chairs with padded seats for simchas and holiday meals. They sit in a closet most of the year and come out dusty. We can clean those along with the main set.
