Carpets, rugs, furniture, mattresses, the family car and the front walk, handled by one local crew.
Bay Ridge sits at the far southwest corner of Brooklyn, between the Narrows and the Gowanus Expressway. The housing is a real mix: rows of limestone and brick houses on the side streets, six-story co-op and rental buildings along Shore Road and Fourth Avenue, and detached homes on some of the blocks near the water.
Because of that mix, no two Bay Ridge visits are planned the same way. An elevator building on Shore Road may need a booked service elevator and a heads-up to the super. A two-family house on 80th Street may have a carpeted stair, a finished basement and a driveway or garage in the back. We ask a few questions when you call, so the crew shows up ready for your building.
Our cleaning products contain nothing toxic, so children and pets can be back in the room once things dry. Green Choice has been cleaning New York homes since 2005, and most Bay Ridge addresses can get a same-day or next-day slot.

We pick rugs up from your apartment or house and wash them at our plant.
Armchairs, dining sets and headboards cleaned where they stand.
Couches and sectionals cleaned in place, with pet hair and odor treatment.
Low-moisture mattress cleaning, ready to sleep on the same day.
Mobile detailing in your driveway, garage or a legal spot on the block.
Front stoops, driveways, rear yards and storefront sidewalks.
Hand-washing and dye testing for Persian and hand-knotted rugs.
Many co-op buildings along Shore Road and Colonial Road have rules for outside workers: set work hours, a padded service elevator, and sometimes a call to the super or the management office first. Tell us what your building asks for, and we will plan the visit inside those rules.
In the row houses and two-family homes, the planning is different. We ask which floors need work, whether there is a basement, and where the crew can park. If you have a driveway or a garage behind the house, our van can often pull right up, which saves time on a big job.
Plenty of families here have lived in the same house for a long time, and some of the furniture and rugs have been with them just as long. We look at older pieces first and tell you honestly what cleaning can and cannot do for them.
Before any machine is switched on, the technician walks the rooms with you, points out problem spots and gives you the price. Nothing is added later without asking you first.
The R train runs under Fourth Avenue with stops at 77th Street, 86th Street and Bay Ridge-95th Street, and many customers ride it to work. Early morning and evening slots go first, so book ahead if you need a time before or after your commute.
Third Avenue, Fifth Avenue and 86th Street are the busy shopping streets, and parking there is tight. On the quieter residential blocks between them, and up toward Shore Road Park and the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge, our crews usually find a spot without much trouble.
We also work just east of here in Dyker Heights and north in Sunset Park. Wherever you are in the neighborhood, booking is simple: phone 1-800-589-4364 or use the form at the top of this page.
