White Plains rug collection from a tower lobby or a house front door, with each rug washed off site and brought back.
Many White Plains apartments have wood or vinyl plank floors, and an area rug is what makes the living room feel like home. In houses, rugs anchor the dining room, the entry and the kitchen.
Rugs collect more than they show. Dust, pet dander, crumbs and street grit settle deep in the pile where a vacuum cannot reach.
We collect the rug, wash it properly off site and bring it back, so you do not have to haul it anywhere.
In a high-rise, a rolled rug leaves by the freight car or the loading dock, following your building's rules. If you would rather not be home, many doormen can hand the rug to our crew, as long as you arrange it with them.
In a house, we roll the rug in the room, carry it out to the van and leave the floor clear. We move small furniture and help with the heavy pieces.
Before the rug leaves, we look it over with you: stains, wear, loose edges and what it is made of. Wool, cotton, viscose, jute and synthetic rugs each need a different approach, and viscose in particular can change texture if cleaned wrong.
Apartment rugs often live under a desk chair or next to a dog bed. We treat those areas on purpose, along with spills by the couch and the dark band where shoes come off.
Small apartments have fewer places to put a big rug while it dries, which is one reason a home wash rarely works. Taking it to our facility avoids a wet rug draped over the bathtub for days.
Our facility gives every rug a real rinse and a controlled dry, so it does not come back stiff, stretched or smelling damp.
Workers who travel during the week can schedule pickup on one day and delivery on another, so long as someone or the front desk can hand off the rug.
Doormats and small bath rugs from an apartment can be sent along at the same time, so the whole place feels fresh at once.
Your rug is usually home within a week. We put it down where they were, with the pad beneath it.
For a hand-knotted Persian, choose oriental rug cleaning instead. Wall-to-wall bedrooms can be done by our carpet crew the same day.
