Sofa cleaning for Westhampton Beach living rooms and rentals: pale fabrics, slipcovers and sectionals cleaned in place, with pet hair and odor treatment.
Beach-house sofas are often white, cream or pale blue, and they take a beating: sandy legs, damp towels, wine at sunset and a dog who just got out of the bay.
We clean sofas right in the living room, protecting the frame and any recliner parts, and leave them ready to use later the same day.
Sand gets into every seam of a beach-house couch. We remove cushions and vacuum the deck, crevices and corners before any cleaning starts.
Pale fabric shows everything, so we look at it in good light and pre-treat each mark: sunscreen on the arms, wine on the seat, a ring from a wet glass.
Rental sofas are used by a new family every week. A clean between the first and second half of summer keeps them presentable for later guests.
Wet dogs and sandy paws leave hair and odor deep in the fabric. We lift hair with rubber tools and treat odor at the source.
Low moisture protects the frame and padding, and it suits the damp air near the water, where a soaked sofa would take a long time to dry.
Recliners and power sofas in media rooms are cleaned around their mechanisms, which we keep dry.
If your sofa has slipcovers, ask us whether they should be cleaned on the sofa or laundered. Some shrink in the wash.
Sleeper sofas are common in smaller cottages where space is tight. We can clean the sofa and the fold-out mattress at the same time.
Wicker and rattan sofas with fabric cushions are popular on porches. We clean the cushions and can wipe down the frame.
Some guests sit on the sofa straight from the beach in a wet suit. A quick towel over the cushions helps, and a clean takes care of the rest.
