Carpet, rugs, sofas, mattresses, cars and decks for year-round residents, second-home owners and rental hosts.
Montauk is a beach town first. Many houses are small cottages and ranch homes a short walk or bike ride from the ocean, and the hills above town hold larger second homes with decks, pools and big windows facing the water. Downtown and around the harbor there are motels, condos and rooms for summer workers.
Sand is part of daily life here. It rides in on feet, towels, surfboards and dogs, and it works deep into carpet, rugs and sofa cushions. Salt air and summer fog keep many homes damp, and a house shut all winter can smell musty when it opens in spring.
Green Choice has been cleaning homes since 2005. Our products are eco-safe and non-toxic for kids and pets, and we plan our Montauk days around the calendar, from spring openings to rental turnovers to the end-of-summer deep clean.

Many Montauk houses are rented by the week in summer. Hosts need work done between check-out and check-in, often on the same day. Share your turnover dates when you book, and we will try to put the crew on the right day and finish before the next guests arrive.
Second-home owners often are not in town when the work is done. We can work with a caretaker, a house manager or a lockbox, and we send a short note when the job is finished so you know the house is ready.
Year-round residents have their own rhythm. Fall and winter are the quiet months, a good time to deep clean everything the summer wore down, while the roads are clear and booking is easy.
Montauk is the farthest point of our Suffolk routes. We group visits on the days our crews are out east, so it helps to call a few days ahead in July and August. Same-day or next-day slots are still offered when the schedule allows.
Every visit starts with a walk-through. The technician shows you what they see, explains the plan and the price, and only then starts the machines.
Montauk Highway, Route 27, is the main road in and out of town and runs all the way to the Montauk Point Lighthouse at the eastern tip. The Long Island Rail Road ends at Montauk station, and many summer visitors arrive by train.
The fishing fleet works out of the harbor on Lake Montauk, and surfers gather at Ditch Plains. Downtown fills with visitors on summer weekends, so parking near the beach and the main stores gets tight.
On busy summer days our crews plan extra driving time and arrive earlier in the morning when traffic is lighter. In the off-season, the drive is easy and the schedule is open.
