Sand is the first thing we deal with in Long Beach. It is heavy and sharp, and it sinks deep into carpet and rugs where a home vacuum cannot reach. Left there, it grinds the fibers every time someone walks over it. We remove the dry sand before any wet cleaning, which makes a big difference.
