Patchogue is not a summer-only town. People live here all year, work here, rent here and raise kids here. In the last few years many new apartment buildings went up on and near Main Street, while the side streets still have the older capes, colonials and village houses that have stood for generations.
That mix shapes our work. A one-bedroom rental downtown needs a quick, tidy visit that fits around a work schedule. A family house a few blocks south needs carpet on the stairs, a sofa the dog sleeps on, and a driveway that gets green in the shady corner. We plan each visit around the home in front of us.

Many downtown buildings in Patchogue are new, with elevators, parking lots and management offices. Some ask that service crews check in first or use a set entrance. Tell us the building name when you book, and we will follow its rules so you do not get a call from the office.
Older homes in the village are a different job. Narrow staircases, small upstairs bedrooms and finished basements are common. Our crew brings hand tools for the stairs and corners, and we tell you honestly if a basement carpet is past saving.
A lot of Patchogue residents rent, and moves happen all year. We often clean the carpet and the mattress at move-out, or the couch right after a move-in. If you are a landlord with a few units, we can plan several apartments in one trip.
Before any machine starts, the crew walks through the home with you, looks at stains and pet spots, and tells you what to expect and how long it will take. Green Choice has been doing this work since 2005, and that walk-through is part of every visit.
Main Street runs through the center of the village, with restaurants, shops and the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts. Parking near the busy blocks can be tight on weekend evenings, so we prefer daytime slots for downtown apartments.
Patchogue has its own station on the Montauk Branch of the Long Island Rail Road, and plenty of our customers ride it to work. Early-morning and early-evening visits are claimed first, so reserve one a few days out.
South of Main Street the village reaches the Great South Bay and the Patchogue River, where the ferries leave for Fire Island in summer. Homes near the water get more damp air, sandy feet and boat gear, and we keep that in mind when we plan drying time.
