Silk rugs and silk accents are handled with even more care. We use lower water and a mild cleaner, and some silk pieces get a dry method only.

Between washes, a few habits help: use a good rug pad, vacuum without a beater bar on the fringe, and turn the rug around once a year so sun from the windows and foot traffic spread evenly.
