Car detailing that comes to your Flatbush block: in the driveway of your house, or at a legal curb spot planned around alternate-side days.
Where you park in Flatbush depends a lot on where you live. Many of the old Victorians near the park have a side driveway or a garage out back. If you live in one of the big apartment buildings, your car is probably on the street, and twice a week you are moving it for the street sweeper.
We bring the detail to wherever the car is. A technician sets up in your driveway or beside the curb at a legal spot, and you carry on with your day.
Street parkers: send us your block's sweeping schedule. We book a window when the car can sit still for the whole job, so nobody gets a ticket halfway through.
The interior work covers vacuuming of every surface, including under the seats and in the trunk, plus wiping down the dashboard, vents, console and door pockets. Cloth seats can get a shampoo with extraction; leather gets a gentle cleaner and conditioner.
Family cars in Flatbush often carry a lot of passengers: kids, grandparents, church friends and sports teams. Crushed snacks, sticky cup holders and sand in the floor mats are normal, and so is a child seat that has not been lifted out in months. We can take it out, clean under it and reinstall it.
On the outside, the paint gets a hand wash, wheels and tires get their own brushes, and glass is cleaned inside and out. After winter, rocker panels and wheel arches hold road salt, so we spend extra time there.
We bring our own supplies and use eco-safe products, with as little water as practical on a city street.
Before a long drive to visit family, or before selling a car, a full detail is a smart step.
Church vans and small business vehicles can be detailed too. Tell us the size and seating when you call.
Pet owners who drive their dogs to Prospect Park on weekends often ask us to pull fur out of the cargo area and seats.
