Big Victorian houses with porches and driveways, and roomy pre-war apartments on Ocean Avenue. Our crews handle carpet, rugs, furniture and beds inside, then car detailing in the driveway and gentle washing of porches and siding outside.
Freestanding homes with yards, plus elevator buildings a short walk from Cortelyou Road.
Ditmas Park does not look like most of Brooklyn. Many streets are lined with large, freestanding Victorian houses from the early 1900s, with wide front porches, lawns, tall trees and driveways that lead to a garage in back. A few blocks away, Ocean Avenue and the streets around it are full of big pre-war apartment buildings with large rooms and long halls.
A house here can have three floors, a finished basement and an attic room, with hardwood throughout and rugs in every room. That means more square feet to clean than in a typical Brooklyn apartment, and often a mix of carpet, area rugs, old furniture and newer pieces.
Homeowners often start with area rug cleaning in Ditmas Park or porch and siding washing. If you live down by the boardwalk, our Coney Island page is the right place to look.
Wall-to-wall on upper floors, finished basements and long staircases.
Rugs for every room of a big house, cleaned on site or taken in.
Porch-room chairs, window seats and antique dining sets.
Living room and den sofas cleaned without moving them.
Bedrooms on every floor, including attic and guest rooms.
Detailing right in your own driveway or garage.
Porches, wood siding, driveways, decks and Cortelyou Road storefronts.
Dye-safe washing for antique and hand-knotted rugs.
Victorian houses have details worth protecting: original wood floors, carved banisters, stained glass, built-in cabinets. Our technicians lay down floor guards from the door to the work area and carry hoses so they never rub against the trim.
Size changes the plan. Instead of rushing through one room, we can spend most of a day on a whole house, from the attic bedrooms to the basement den. We walk through with you at the start, agree on the rooms, and give you one price.
The apartment buildings on Ocean Avenue are different. Many have a super, a service entrance and rules about when contractors can work. Pass those along when you book and the crew will follow them.
The solutions we use are eco-safe and gentle, which suits homes with children, dogs that run in from the yard, and cats that own the window seat.
The Q train stops at Cortelyou Road and Beverley Road, and the B and Q stop at Newkirk Plaza. Our vans usually have an easier time here than in much of Brooklyn, because many houses have a driveway we can pull into with your permission.
