Area Rug Cleaning in Mount Vernon, NY

In apartments and the upper floors of two-family houses, area rugs are often the main soft surface in the room. They take every spill, every muddy shoe and every pet accident, and they are hard to clean well at home.

We come to you, roll up the rug and take it to our cleaning facility. There it is dusted, washed with a method that suits its fiber, dried under control and then delivered back. The usual turnaround is about a week.

We quote the price first, based on the rug's size, material and condition.

Carrying a big rug down narrow stairs or out of a third-floor apartment is not easy. Our crew does the lifting, so you do not have to.

Many families in Mount Vernon have rugs that came from far away, sometimes brought from another country or passed down from relatives. Even if a rug is machine-made, we test the colors first so nothing runs in the wash.

Rugs in kids' rooms and play areas pick up crumbs, juice, crayon and worse. A full wash gets out what vacuuming leaves behind, and our products are non-toxic and safe for children once the rug is dry.

If a pet has used the rug as a bathroom, we treat the urine in the fibers and the backing, where the smell lives.

Drying is done in a controlled space so the rug keeps its size and shape and does not develop a musty smell.

If several families in the same building want rugs cleaned, we can collect them all in one trip.

Runners in hallways and on stairs in two-family houses carry everyone's shoes. They are narrow, but they often need cleaning more than the big rug in the living room.

Shag and high-pile rugs are popular, and they hide a lot. We dust them thoroughly before washing so the dirt deep in the pile actually comes out.
